FREE 4 All Friday!

FREE4AllFridays!

It's the fourth Friday of the month.
That means it's my turn to host FREE 4 All Fridays!
Because everybody likes free stuff, right!?!

Today, I am giving away a bath and body set.

The set is SUPER cute and includes bubble bath, body butter, shower gel, bath salt, and a body scrub!

Along with the bath and body set, I am also giving way a SUPER cute monogrammed hand towel for your bathroom.

We were in desperate need of a new handtowel in our half bath, thanks to my boys' dirty little hands! So I decided to make one for myself, and pick up an extra for today's giveaway!

You will get to pick the letter and the color that you would like to have monogrammed on the handtowel!

To enter:

Leave a comment telling me what initial you would want on your handtowel.

For another entry, follow my blog and leave me a comment telling me that you do.

For a third entry, place my blog button on your blog and then leave a comment telling that you did.

For another entry, post the SUPER cute FREE 4 All Friday button on your blog and leave a comment telling me that you did. Here's the code:

For one more entry, stop by Mimi's place and tell her "HI" too!

I will use random.org to pick a winner on Sunday! Good Luck and thanks for entering!

I also wanted to say THANKS for all the prayers for Eli and his surgery! He is doing great, and other than a little bit of fussiness coming out of the anesthesia, he is feeling back to normal! Now, if you would please add Henry to your prayer lists...we found out yesterday that he has pneumonia. He is feeling okay, and at home taking antibiotics. I am hoping a weekend of rest will have him feeling much better!

As Easy As Pie

Well, technically this is called Cherry Crunch...but you know what I mean! I never have very good luck with fruit desserts, especially cobblers, crisps, or crumbles. I don't know why, but they always end up either way too chewy or way too dry. I have been staring at a can of cherry pie filling in my pantry for almost a month wishing that I had the perfect recipe to use it in. I finally sat down to do a little research on my favorite recipe website allrecipes.com!

I found THIS recipe!
This is one of the best fruit desserts I have ever made!
It was not too dry and not too chewy.
Just the right amount of sweet and tart.
And the Crunch part stayed yummy for 4 days!
Here is the recipe just in case you want to try it!
CHERRY CRUNCH
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C.)
2.In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3.Sprinkle one half of crumb mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch square baking dish. Cover with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over pie filling.
4.Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm.
P.S. This is a scheduled post...we are either at the surgery center for Eli's tubes or at home recovering from the surgery. I will try to update today through twitter. You can follow me {my twitter name is SUPERMOM_Kelli} or check the right sidebar of my blog for updates! Thanks again for all your prayers!

Wordless Wednesday: Valentine's Day (just a little late)

********************************
Just a quick addition to my WW post:
Eli is having tubes put in tomorrow morning bright and early, so if you would, please say a little prayer for Eli and his doctors and nurses! I am feeling very comfortable with the surgery, and I am hopeful that this will help his little ears feel better. He has been battling ear infections since this summer, and I am a little worried that his hearing and speech may have been affected. We will be doing a follow up hearing test after the surgery to check. But for tomorrow, we are just praying for a quick, easy, and successful surgery! Thanks in advance for your prayers:)

I Heart Faces: Hands-On Fun

I haven't entered an i heart faces contest in a while. Mainly because I either haven't had a picture that fit the theme or I knew that my picture wasn't up to par with all the great pics that get submitted ever week.
This week was different though.
As soon as I saw the theme I knew I had a great picture to submit.

I took this picture last summer while the boys were outside playing, just being boys. This is Henry showing off some seeds that he found! I love you can see every crease and wrinkle in his hand and I love the blurred waterhose in the background too:)

Go check out i heart faces this week and see all the great Hands-On Fun pictures!

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

********************************

I did NOT act like a kid in a candy store when I walked into Target and saw that their dollar section stuff was 75% off! I did NOT get excited because of all the pretty good dollar items that only cost 25 cents! I did NOT end up leaving with four bags full of stuff that I only spent a little over $20 on:)

We did NOT have an awesome time on our mini vacation that we got back from on Wednesday of last week. We have NOT been back for almost five days, and there is NOT still a huge pile of vacation laundry sitting in the breakfast room waiting for my attention. I have NOT been simply ignoring the dirty clothes until I know the boys are completely out of clean underwear, pants, and school uniforms! I am NOT so lazy that I just let the laundry go until the VERY LAST minute:)
What have you NOT been up to this week?

Things I Learned on Vacation

1. Driving down a snowy mountain road is beautiful and a little scary.
2. Snow tubing is a TON of fun.3. Grant is a typical goofy middle child:) 4. Eli is an adorable snow bunny...red cheeks and all!5. My boys are growing up and doing a lot more without help from Mom or Dad.6. Well, some of them:) 7. Someone always has to go to the bathroom and/or get their diaper changed.
8. Playing in the snow makes you very, very, very tired!9. Pushing a stroller in the snow is actually not as hard as you would think!
10. Riding up is much easier than skiing up or walking up. 11. Eli is an adorable snow bunny!
12. Always take a change of clothes for your kiddos. Ski pants are made to go OVER regular pants...they are not a very good substitute for regular pants.
13. Snowflakes and camera lens don't always get along!
14. Eli is the easiest child to take a picture with because it is hard for him to run away while you are holding him! 15. We are going to have some very interesting video footage. {That is Jason on the left videoing Henry and Grant coming down the hill.}16. I take way too many pictures.
17. Henry got pretty good in just three hours of skiing.18.Grant will sometimes be sweet and pose for pictures.
19. It is nearly impossible to get everyone to look at the camera!20. Nine hours in the car with three little kids is about eight hours too long. Thank goodness for DVDs!
21. I LOVE vacation!

Sneak Peek

We are on vacation this week. So far we have explored Asheville and played in what little bit of snow is still on the ground here.
The view of the North Carolina mountains from our hotel. Playing in the snow near the {closed} Blue Ridge Parkway. Eli sampling the yummy snow:)
All suited up and trying to stay warm!
Tomorrow we are heading to a ski resort to try some tubing and skiing!
