I did NOT go shopping at local resale shop this weekend. I did NOT take advantage of their going out of business sale and buy a bunch great stuff{okay some of it might possibly be junk}. I did NOT come home with these:

I do NOT already have two other school desks upstairs...making my total number of desk 3! I do NOT have big plans to paint and decoupage the desks {now I have one for each kiddo} and put them in the boys' playroom. I have NOT been planning to fix up the other two for at least two years:) Hopefully, third times the charm!I have NOT been really tired and lazy lately. That does NOT mean that I chose to nap this weekend instead of cleaning house. My kitchen counter top is NOT so cluttered with stuff right now that I would be embarrassed to share a picture of it:) I am NOT planning on spending the rest of the morning cleaning up the huge mess that managed to accumulate over the weekend!

ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't not clean this weekend either. I didn't have a pile of dishes on the counter when my landlord came over to install new smoke detectors today. I was not embarrassed beyond belief! Isn't that the way it always works!

ReplyDeleteI love the desk...you know I have two and still have plans to chalkboard paint them...someday :) I'm always on the lookout for another one, though, they are so cute! I love 'junk' haha!
ReplyDeleteI did nothing at all this weekend either and have piles of laundry on the kitchen counter because the laundry room was full! sigh... guess maybe I should go do that now, huh? blah! haha!
I'm sure that you will fix those desks up now that you have one for each kid! And I love the idea of painting and decoupaging... sounds like my kind of project!
ReplyDeleteWoa! I just bought a desk just like that but the metal is painted red off Craigslist for $10! I love it! My son uses it for his lessons now and he loves it too!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you didn't happen to find those things at my parents house? WOW...flashback from my childhood. You have 3 boys(very cute I might add), so obviously you needed three desks. Great finds.

ReplyDeleteI think those are great finds! I totally dig the school desks. I wish I had the know how to redo them. If you ever do "decoupage" them, you have to do a post on it!
