Dinner and Dessert

My boys {and Jason and I} ate eggplant for the first time this week. And we ate {almost} every bite!
I told the boys it was lasagna....which it sort of is....and they dug right in. Grant cleaned his plate and Henry ate a pretty good size portion too.
Who knew eggplant could be so yummy!

Peanut Butter Cookies

After dinner, the boys helped me make some of my mom's SUPER delicious Peanut Butter cookies. I made the dough, but they helped by rolling out the dough, putting it on the cookie sheet, and using the fork to squish the cookies! They turned out really yummy!

  8. Yum-O!!! I LOVE eggplant. We actually have some growing in our garden. And nothing beats fresh from the farm corn. My father-in-law has a HUGE garden and he grows the best corn I've ever had. He was just telling us yesterday that it's just about ready to be pick. Yayyy!!

So glad you came over today. I was worried about the pool ruining our grass. Maybe I should be more worried about the grass ruining the pool and all my hard work would be for nothing. LOL!!

  9. I must have lost some of my brain cells while blowing up the pool. As you can see, my spelling was a little off. LOL
