Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
********

I did NOT relearn some of the rules of baby food etiquette this week while feeding Eli. I was NOT sweetly reminded that freshly pureed beans and a baby that likes to blow raspberries is not really the best match!

The area in our breakfast nook around Eli highchair did NOT look like a whole box of Cheerios exploded underneath it {for most of the week}. I would never let my child make a huge mess with his snacks...and then leave it there for a few days! Cheerios also do NOT seem to find their way into every crease and fold of Eli's chunky legs! Jason and I do NOT play a fun game called "Guess How Many Cheerios are Stuck to Eli" anytime we change his diaper right after he has a snack!

While doing laundry this week, I did NOT remove enough lint from my dryer filter to knit a sweater for a least one of my children! I do NOT think that it might have even been enough to knit one for myself! I always keep my house in a clean and kept state....that includes places that nobody ever sees like the dryer lint trap!

The boys and I did NOT have a great time playing at the Splash Pad with friends this week! While we were there I did NOT let Eli feast on a buffet of grass and pine straw! Eli does NOT seem to really enjoy eating things off the ground, and that does NOT drive me just a little crazy!

  2. Kelli,

It sounds like you had a fun week with a bunch of little boys. We used to play a game to keep our Samuel (now 4) busy in church. We would thread cheerios onto his shoe laces and then he would eat them off. Oh, that was NOT me.

I must ask where you got the outfits of your boys in the upper left corner of your page. They look an awful lot like some I got from Anavini for my 3 boys a few years ago.

Thanks for stopping by Arts Chili Pepper. I hope you come again soon!

  3. I always hated getting baby food in the face while they decided to blow raspberries. LOL
    I miss those days:)
Since getting back from vacation, my dryer has been used so much that I could knit a few sweaters too if I knew how to knit. :) Gotta love lint!

  5. I really do NOT (really I don't) miss that blowing raspberries while eating stage. Funny how when you're done having babies you're REALLY done. Love my kids getting older and more independent.

  7. The reason we got a huge dog...was to clean up all the snacks my son spilled. ;) It works better than a vacuum, and I have no work to do, whatsoever! Wait...I'm definitely not THAT lazy!

  8. I too don't leave cereal under the high chair for days-it does not drive Paul crazy! LOL. And like Lexie Loo said, we loved when we had a dog to clean up the mess, but not enough to get another dog!

  13. Just so you know...I sooo could not sign my name to the bottom of your not me's this week! None of that stuff ever happens to me. And just a little hint with the cheerios...get a dog! LOL. We just yell, "Dog" when someone drops something and he comes through and sucks it up. I love our dog! Have you ever wondered how whole cheerios make it INTO the diaper, as in through several layers of clothing and really down there? Haha. We just chuckle. Have a great week!

  15. Oh, I would never leave food or snacks lying around for days at a time! well, that is, only unless our dog, Skipper finds them! LOL! So funny! How does the lint pile up so fast, anyway! happy monday...almost Tuesday for me! Have a great night! We're getting ready for vacay...if I'm not around much...but hope to keep checking in :) Have a wonderful week!
