I did NOT spend almost all of last week debating on whether or not I was going to go with Jason on a business trip. I did NOT consider letting the boys miss a few days of school just so I wouldn't have to be home alone {you know, with no other adults} for a whole week. I also did NOT consider just letting Henry and Grant spend the week with my mom while Eli and I enjoyed a little vacation!I did NOT take Grant to the dentist last week to have one of his {baby} teeth fixed. I did NOT spend way too much just a little bit of money getting his tooth fixed strictly for cosmetic reasons. I would NEVER be so worried about appearance and spend so much on a tooth that he is going to lose in a few years anyway. 
{His tooth did NOT go from gross, gray, injured tooth to nice normal looking tooth after 1 1/2 hours and about $500!}
I did NOT take the boys to attempt pictures with one of our local town's fall decorations. I did NOT take at least 50 shots...and only end up with about 3 good ones{I will post the good ones later this week}! I REALLY did NOT realize how hard it is to get three little boys to look {and smile} at the camera at the same time!
Love their shirts. Cute shots. I hate when my hubby is away on business too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even tried to get posed shots of all mine together...I can only imagine the headache! It's just much easier to get them one at a time. {sigh} I've been debating giving it a shot cause I really need new family pics and don't want to go have them made somewhere, but I've got to get up the nerve first!! I love those shirts, BTW.

Too cute! And I'm so scared of teeth injuries...I don't blame you one bit for getting it fixed!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hear you about trying to get the perfect picture where everyone is looking!! I definitely relate with that, but I only have TWO kids! I've been thinking I need to get the kids' pictures taken for our Christmas card. I wanted an outside shot, but it looks like the "wet and windy" weather will be around for a bit!

ReplyDeleteI hate it when Gary travels too, and have often thought of loading up with him sometimes.
I can't even get a few good pics with the two of mine! Alex always tries to act goofy! They are adorable...I'm sure they are all just as cute!
ReplyDeleteDentists can sure find ways to sap all the money we have, can't they! ugh! So did you...or are you going on the trip with your hubs? I wish I could go on all the trips Dan goes on too...he's been lots of places I'd like to see :)

ReplyDeleteoh, and we just had my oldest daughters tooth fixed as well. but it was an adult tooth that she fell and broke in half. so awful! I can understand why you fixed a baby tooth though. it is heartbreaking to see their little teeth broken or hurt!
ReplyDeleteOh Actress had one of those discolored teeth and we didn't even think to get it repaired. I sure would have liked too though. The boys shirts are so cute.
ReplyDeleteYour life will now be spent trying to get 3 boys to look at the camera all at the same time with their eyes open and smiles on their faces. You will end up with 1/100 shots being semi decent and finally conclude that even though one of the boys has their eyes 1/2 open that it totally counts as a perfect picture and print it out for Christmas cards.

We have had a grey tooth as well. QB fell off a metal slide (go figure)~

My son fell and hit his two front teeth so hard that they died. Both are gray now and I was always worried people will think they went that way because I didn't brush them! Not the case. Now I have gotten used to it and I don't notice. But still, I hope they fall out soon!! Great NOT Me!'s
