Eli's First Day of Preschool

It is so hard for me to believe that Eli is old enough for preschool...but his first day of preschool came and went and he had such a good time!
My other two only went to 4 year old preschool, but because of Eli's wonky birthday {His bday is Sept. 5th and the cut off to start school is Sept. 1st, which means he will basically be a whole year older than a lot of kids in his class!}, I really didn't want him waiting until he was almost 5 before he started preschool. So we are venturing into the new world of 3 year old preschool this year:)
He is SUPER excited...and I'm half excited/half sad! What am I going to do with myself two days a week without a least one kiddo at home with me!?! It's been more than eight years since I've been kid-free, so it's going to take a little bit of adjusting on my part...but I'm sure I will find some way to entertain myself:)

  1. Kelli! He is so handsome and adorable! How is it possible that he's old enough to be in pre-school?? What are you going to do with yourself? :)

  3. Oh my goodness, imagine the crafts you could accomplish! Or...a NAP! You could take a nap without anyone interrupting you!!!! Enjoy yourself lady. If I lived near you, I'd arrange for us to meet up and do the C25K together on your days off. (Congrats to Eli for going to school like the big boys.)

  4. Call me crazy, but I've started researching lunch box containers for my kids (who won't need them until at least next year). What kind is the one in the picture? Is it dishwasher safe? Non-leaking? Do you love it? Would it fit enough for an elementary-age kid?
So many questions, sorry. If they all get answered on a site that sells them, feel free to direct me there.

  5. Aww he is such a handsome boy. Zoe goes to full day kindergarten this year, it is going to be a little hard for me but I'm also excited to focus more on my blog and having work hours instead of whenever is good:)

  7. Awww how cute. My kids start school on Monday. For the first time in 9 years I will have five days a week without kids. I'm excited and nervous. Lol.

  8. He looks so cute, and really happy to try preschool! It's always hardest for mom to give the kiddos up all day :-( If we were closer, we would definitely be at Target or Chili's at least every other day! ;-D
