One Last Hurrah

On Sunday afternoon, we loaded up in our friends' boat and headed out into the Gulf of Mexico for one last hurrah before the school year started! The boys had a great time riding in the big boat, swimming at the islands, and jumping off the side of the boat into the deep water!

Henry and Grant started school yesterday.
Eli and I are adjusting back to it just being the two of us...for now anyway!
He starts preschool two days a week soon, and then it will be just me!
Check back tomorrow for first day of school pics:)

  2. I have always wanted to go out on a boat. The boys' faces are just filled with joy...what a fun way to end summer break.

We are preparing for the first day back (next Monday).
I'm already worrying about what I'll do all by myself!!!

  4. Awe, that's a great last hurrah! I can't get over how many people are starting school already. It's just so, so wrong.

  5. Looks and sounds like so much fun! Where were you when taking these pictures-not on the boat obviously. My older two started school and so it is just me and my toddler and it already seems so quiet, it will be so weird when he is gone at school someday too.

  6. Aw, so fun! Looks like they had a blast. :) Natalie starts 1st grade on the 21st, but Michaela Byrd doesn't have preschool until the 2nd week of September! She's doing 3 days a week this year...it's going to be so weird!

  7. Sounds like fun! I love the pictures with one (or two) less kids on the boat with each picture. Reminds me of a song I used to sing when I was little about kittens on a fence.
