What's in Your Lunchbox?

*graham crackers*
*granny smith apple*
*sugar free chocolate pudding*
*marshmallows*
*capri sun*
*whole wheat goldfish*
*ham roll-up*
*grapes*

This is what the boys' lunchboxes look like most days.
{except the marshmallows were a treat today}
Sometimes the grapes are switched out for carrots, the apple is switched out for a banana, the pudding is switched out for applesauce or yogurt, and the goldfish are switched out for Sun Chips....and sometimes they get leftover pizza instead of a roll-up or PB&J sandwich!

What does your "lunchbox" usually look like?

That is a good looking lunch!! I am just curious how long your sons' lunch time is?!? I think our school district gives us the tiniest amount of time possible, and I feel like I have to roll their goldfish, marshmallows, grapes, etc into their ham & cheese roll-up just so they can finish it all!

Mine get the same thing every day- darn those picky eaters. Jakob gets pepperoni bagel bites, chips, and fruit snacks. Nolan gets, nuggets, chips, and fruit snacks. Not a bit of healthy anywhere in there. EVER.

You are a good mom!!! Maybe my girls just don't have as big appetites, but I bet they would kill for some variety like yours. I feel like they have the same thing all the time. They do ask for pb&j every day. :s I also give them a fruit and green beans (blech, but they like them cold, can you believe that??!) and some yogurt. Sometimes they get a small treat too.

Wow this looks great! Does the lunch box have a top? Can I ask where you got it?

That's a handy lunch box. Have I asked you where you got it before? If so, I forgot. Can you tell an old woman where you got that again? :)

I am with Larks Nest. My daughter doesn't have anywhere near enough time to eat much of anything. She eats a half of sandwich and a treat and drinks a capri sun (or something similar) If I send any more than that, it comes home smushed and destroyed...I used to send fruit, chips and other deliciousness, but she never ate it because when she did, she was late getting back to class.

You are such a good mom. I really, really admire the way you're taking care of those precious boys of yours!

Their lunch looks fab. Gavyn brings a lunch every day. He only likes turkey and cheese sandwiches so he get's that often, with fruit, yogurt, pudding or jello, side of crackers such as goldfish, Capri Sun (the roaring water one) and usually a small treat.

I like the lunch container, what is that?

My cherubs have great daily variety but not large portions. There's just not enough time. My sweet girl likes to take her "apple-mallow-butter-chip wrap!" It's a tortilla with a smear of p.butter, diced apple, sprinkle of chocolate chips and mini marshmallows! She takes 1/2 of that with pudding/applesauce/or jello. My man-child likes to take left-overs. I heat them REALLY hot and it keeps in his super-duper thermos. He's a meat/veggie/bread dude with a sweet treat at the end!

Cheese sandwich and grapes are the constant..I switch up the cookies, gummies and/or chips depending on what we have.

What a great lunch - we do a similar type of set up. I have made my kiddies cheesy/bacon muffins for tomorrow, they sometimes take wraps or sandwiches or dry biscuits with ham & cheese in another container. I bake mini cakes for treats and they take fruit as well.

First, I really like your blog. I've been lurking it for a while now :) In Finland the kids don't take their own lunch to the school, they get it from the school.

Those are great lunchboxes (I remember when you posted them before). Jamison's lunch looks a lot like this too. Wraps are her new favorite.

Looks good to me!
Dylan takes the same thing every single day. A half of a Nutella sandwich, 2 juice bags, applesauce or a piece of fruit, a string cheese or gogurt, a hard boiled egg, and a granola bar.
