Let Them Eat {Pound} Cake!

Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup of cocoa powder (optional)
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups butter, softened
1/2 cup of milk (more if you add cocoa)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
6 eggs

Combine dry ingredients in mixer bowl.
Add butter...
... milk, vanilla, and almond extract.
Stir to combine and then beat about 2 minutes on medium.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing about 15 seconds after each addition.
Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Enjoy!

Lol...I love Kimber's comment! Too funny. That looks yummy!! We always make cakes from scratch, but for some reason I've never made a pound cake...I may have to try it!
