Miscellany Monday

A. We had an outrageously busy weekend {Halloween party Friday night, Fall Festival at church Saturday night, and Trick or Treating Sunday night} as I'm sure most everyone else did! I am just a little exhausted from all the fun Halloween/fall activities, and I'm kind of thankful that we don't have a whole lot going on until closer to Thanksgiving.

B. Because we have been so busy, the housework had to be put on hold for a few days:) That means I have a ton of laundry piled up waiting to be folded, and a ton of other laundry that needs to be washed. Sometimes I think I would love to have a maid...but just having someone else to do the laundry would probably be enough to make me happy!

C. In all the candy and craziness that was Halloween night, I accidentally left my camera at my aunt's house. That means no cute pictures of three little knights trick or treating. I did manage to get a half way decent shot of them at the Fall Festival Saturday night though:

D. Is it just me, or is it kind of crazy that the stores already have out all of their Christmas stuff! I like Christmas, but can we at least wait until after Thanksgiving before we start plastering Santa and snowmen all over everything!

E. I don't know if I have mentioned this on my blog before or not, but we are really big Mississippi State fans at our house {that is where my hubby went to college}. Right now the Bulldogs are ranked in the top 25 and they are probably going to make it to a bowl game this year {it's been a few years since that had a good  season}.  We are so excited they are doing well this year, and we are hoping to find tickets to one of the few home games that are left. Henry and Grant have been begging to go to a game, so maybe we can work it out over the next few weeks:)

I am right there with you on the Christmas issue. Can we enjoy fall please.

We are huge Baylor fans in our house, and we are so excited that they are doing so well this year too.

I love the boys costumes...they are wonderful...girl you did an amazing job.

Will you be my mommy and make stuff for me? Your boys are so lucky!!

I love their costumes. You did a great job on them.

For some reason the Christmas stuff doesn't bother me. It used to, but not so much anymore.

WOW! You did have one super busy weekend. Time to put your feet up...I mean..time to fold your laundry. :-) Hope you find a few minutes for yourself today.

Oh my gosh! Great job with their costumes! I love them.

Regarding your point "D"...I saw Christmas stuff out at Target last week. Let's at least get through Halloween!

Hi Kelli! I love your KNIGHTS...sooooooo cute! What a bummer to have accidentally left your camera, but so glad you got a snapshot of your boys in their costumes.

I totally agree about the Christmas decor...at least wait until mid-November. I was shopping for a few last minute Halloween things on Saturday and I was overwhelmed by all the Christmas stuff out already.

Good luck with the laundry...you're not alone! ;)

Look at the boys, how cute are they! My hands were too cold to snap photos out but I managed a couple. The weather was ridiculously cold here with sleet, rain and snow!

Those knights are adorable!!! I know a couple of princesses who would like to meet them. ;)

Um, YES about the Christmas stuff. It really does sort of drive me crazy when stores (and, yes, blogs) skip over Thanksgiving and head right to Christmas. By the time the Christmas season actually gets here, we're all sort of done reading about it. :s

Thanks for stopping by today. :)

Oh my goodness, your knights are the cutest!!! I have to agree about the Christmas decorations. I love Christmas like no other, but there have been decorations up in the stores here for weeks now. I mean, before Halloween? You've got to be kidding!

those are great costumes! and maybe next year when Halloween isn't on the weekend there might be less happening? maybe? or maybe I'm just thinking wishfully. sigh...

and yeah, apparently there's a lot of people who don't know christmas is in december. i think they must have mixed up their months.

Your knights are so handsome. We had a lot of Halloween activities too and the house has suffered. I have quite a bit to catch up on, but I'm sure it'll get done. I swear that Christmas items come out earlier and earlier each year and it drives me crazy!!! I hope you guys make it to a game...I love going to football/baseball games.

I love the knight costumes!!! I REALLY wish I could get my boys to match or at least coordinate costumes. :( Maybe next year I'll beg until they give in.

LOVE the costumes! You are so good at that! THey look awesome! Can't wait to see all the fun they had :)

We were at Walmart today...and it's crazy to see the Halloween stuff barely on sale...and they already had big Christmas banners over the entrance when you walk in! Crazy! I'm still trying to savor the FAll!

Hope you have a nice, slow week...I'm always behind on laundry...I bragged about it being ahead earlier...but now I have to take it back! haha! And it's only going to multiply in a few weeks! Yikes! ;)

Their costumes are adorable! :)

We'll be going to the Bama/Miss St. game in Tuscaloosa in a few weeks. (Although, I fear, I will be rooting for a different team than you will.) I'm pretty excited about it! :)
