Just in case you weren't sure...the best way to make Accidental Bean Soup is to leave the lid of your dried bean filled sand table open during two days of rain:)

I think I'll skip this recipe! I don't envy your clean up :)
Ha! This is so funny! And yes...the clean-up looks not so fun. Normally I love any kind of bean soup -- but this? I think I'll pass!
About a month ago I filled a tub full of white rice for my kids to play with. They had fun with it...but we are STILL picking out little grains of rice from the cracks in our cement patio, still finding rice in various toys and in the grass, in the flower beds, etc. My husband is less than pleased -- mainly, he says, because the birds can eat it and bloat up and die. I didn't think of that. Now I feel bad, of course. A mom should know better. Sigh.
I think next time I'll do the bean-thing like you did. But I'll be sure to keep the lid on!
