My candle holder with it's broken candles and kind of boring color!
I finally found the solution to the broken candles....which I think may have been suggested by a reader on my first dilemma post. I got a pack of six little terra cotta pots at Hobby Lobby. They were marked $2.27 and they were on sale for 50% off...so I got all six of them for a little over a dollar!
As cute as they are, the color is just too close to the Sherwin Williams Baked Clay that is on the walls in my living room. So, I got out my trusty black spray paint and gave all six pots a good coating.
I think it turned out really great, and it looks completely different than it did when I started! Now, I am planning to melt down a few old candles to make the pots candles, because I know it will be almost impossible to find some that fit in the pots perfectly.
