A few weeks ago I posted this dilemma:
My candle holder with it's broken candles and kind of boring color!

Then I shared a little bit of vinyl craftiness with the addition of this {oh so cute} number 6. I obviously painted the candle holder too. This is Krylon Bahama Sea spraypaint, which I am currently in love with:) I finally found the solution to the broken candles....which I think may have been suggested by a reader on my first dilemma post. I got a pack of six little terra cotta pots at Hobby Lobby. They were marked $2.27 and they were on sale for 50% off...so I got all six of them for a little over a dollar! As cute as they are, the color is just too close to the Sherwin Williams Baked Clay that is on the walls in my living room. So, I got out my trusty black spray paint and gave all six pots a good coating.
I think it turned out really great, and it looks completely different than it did when I started! Now, I am planning to melt down a few old candles to make the pots candles, because I know it will be almost impossible to find some that fit in the pots perfectly.

I love this! I actually have one of those that's longer and I've been wondering what to do with it. I just might have to borrow your idea ;) Found you at Tip Junkie.
Love it, it really looks great! Wouldn't votive candles fit in those pots? Hard to tell what size they are from the photos. Love the redo!
Love the paint. I've called Ace, Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart, and nobody has this color, or even another one I really like. Where did you get your Krylon paint?
Darling site!
What a great transformation! I love the colour, and the little terra cotta pots are just genius!
What a great idea! I confess to being a scented candle fanatic and to to raiding my husband's workshop. This project WILL happen. I bought some of those tiny pots a few years ago. They are so cute. I put tiny flowers in mine and lined them up on a bathroom shelf. Now I wish I had bought more.
Thanks for sharing.
Now that is very cute. I love the pots and the little number.
