Things I Learned on Vacation

1. Driving down a snowy mountain road is beautiful and a little scary.
2. Snow tubing is a TON of fun.3. Grant is a typical goofy middle child:) 4. Eli is an adorable snow bunny...red cheeks and all!5. My boys are growing up and doing a lot more without help from Mom or Dad.6. Well, some of them:) 7. Someone always has to go to the bathroom and/or get their diaper changed.
8. Playing in the snow makes you very, very, very tired!9. Pushing a stroller in the snow is actually not as hard as you would think!
10. Riding up is much easier than skiing up or walking up. 11. Eli is an adorable snow bunny!
12. Always take a change of clothes for your kiddos. Ski pants are made to go OVER regular pants...they are not a very good substitute for regular pants.
13. Snowflakes and camera lens don't always get along!
14. Eli is the easiest child to take a picture with because it is hard for him to run away while you are holding him! 15. We are going to have some very interesting video footage. {That is Jason on the left videoing Henry and Grant coming down the hill.}16. I take way too many pictures.
17. Henry got pretty good in just three hours of skiing.18.Grant will sometimes be sweet and pose for pictures.
19. It is nearly impossible to get everyone to look at the camera!20. Nine hours in the car with three little kids is about eight hours too long. Thank goodness for DVDs!
21. I LOVE vacation!

Oh! These are the greatest pictues! It looks like you had a wonderful time. I love vacation too!!! We were just outside enjoying some sunshine and I looked up at the sky to see an airplane and said "I want to go on one of those again". My girls agreed! :) It seems like it's been an awful long time since we've had a REAL vacation :)

Wow, that looks like a fabulous vacation! I just told Chris today I wanted to go back to NM. I'm glad y'all had such a good time. And yes, Eli is an adorable snow bunny!

Looks like you learned a lot! :) And I love how Eli has no shoes in that last photo. Isn't it amazing how fast kids pick up stuff. Skiing is great. My brother lives in Denver and I'm hoping to take the kids out there next year for a ski trip.

So you have a silly middle child too!?! Every family needs one.

Totally agree...how did our parents ever do it without DVDs...how did WE do it growing up without DVDs. Looks like you had a marvelous time...good to see.

That looks like so much fun! But I hate cold so much...I'm afraid I'd be miserable after the first 20 minutes or so! BTW...did anyone tell you that Eli makes the cutest snow bunny?? LOL.

Oh, what a wonderful vacation. Looks like you all had a blast. I love the sking and tubing photos with the kiddos. The second snow picture is so beautiful. Can you believe that I am saying the snow is pretty after all of the snow we have gotten. Yesterday was in the 50's so we are enjoying the warm temps. before the next round of snow is suppose to come.
Glad you all had a great time!

I'm SO glad you guys had a good time. Vacations are just AWESOME! I've never taken one to the snow. (We're a teacher family, so winter holidays pretty much don't happen.) But I'd like to one day!
