Pork and Beans

Well, really stuffed pig and lentils....but that is not quite as catchy as Pork and Beans!

Our house has been full of 'whoops' and 'uh-oh's' lately.

Last week, Eli spilled {prune} juice all over his most favorite Christmas present...his piggy! Apparently, prune juice stains a lot more than regular juice, because his piggy looked like he had been rolling around in a real pig pen! Needless to say, he took a ride in the washing machine with some of Eli's dirty clothes. He came out surprisingly clean and has been under Eli's arm since he came out of the dryer!

Later in the week, Eli decided that a bag of lentils from the cabinet looked like they would be fun to play with. He had a grand time running around with the bag, and I didn't think anything about it....until he started throwing them like a ball! He got one good throw in, and the bag busted sending lentils flying across the room! I got the vacuum out and cleanup as much as I could, but I still had lentils stuck to my foot for at least three days after that!

I am hoping to avoid any messes pig or lentil related this week:)

What kind of fun messes do your kiddos make for you to clean up?

Awww...what a sweet pig!

I was thinking you were posting a recipe at first. I need a lentil recipe. I have had some in the cabinet for weeks, and don't know what to do with them.

Oh the messes in this house....cookie cutters everywhere, toilet paper, and right now plastic coffee cups. and earlier someone was playing in the dog water bowl...eiiiwww.

It's never dull in this house with an 18 month old! Right?

That pig must be from the Laura Numeroff (sp?) series that they sold at Kohl's during Christmas. My kids got the mouse and the moose. Soooo cute!

And messes you ask? I have no idea what you speak of, my perfect children don't make messes. :D

Messes...I don't even know where to begin!

I got my prize the other day from you and have been meaning to e-mail, but can't find you e-mail address! Anyway, thanks so much for the lotion...it smells heavenly and I adore Bath & Body Works but don't get to go in there often.

How about the crushed cracker type snacks all over the back of the car. Why do I allow them to eat in the car...oh that's right...it usually quiets them long enough so I can hear myself think...always a good thing.

I'm with Kimber on this one. I'm wound (sp?) too tight I think.

That's a cute pig! both Melody and Jack were/are attached to stuffed animals but Charlie's not. It makes me a little sad, actually.

Messes and boys don't those two go hand in hand. I love the pig, it is cute.
Speaking of messes, my husband was taking out his sign shop trash (just imagine big stickers, that is what the vinyl is like) when what does he find a melted Sonic slush. Needless to say Trey's cherry slush is all over the carpet now.
We just smiled and got out the carpet cleaner.

My little guy is too anal to make many messes (gets it from his father) but he is child #4, so needless to say, if a mess can be made chances are good I have seen it! ;)

LOL, oh my gosh. I'm glad little piggy was able to get all cleaned up!!

My kids just spill juice on the counter or table when they pour it.

Lexie got that pig for Christmas, too!
Last week was my week of accidents. Caused by my kids and my pets! I practically lost it by the end of the week!

I'm so in with the messy club. Hubby was cooking spaghetti one night and ran upstairs and when he came back down Zoe had thrown the uncooked spaghetti everywhere. I'm still finding it throughout the house. What a mess. So glad he got his piggy cleaned :)

That pig is adorable...I bet he'd love it even with the stains...it's so cute and soft! I have a plastic container full of dry rice and measuring cups and spoons that the kids have always loved playing with and running it through their hands...they still get it out once in awhile...but the clean up is horrible! I find pieces of rice on the floor for days!

While at my parents' house over Christmas, T was walking around following the cats (with whom she is fascinated until they move towards her, at which point she runs away). I went to lay eyes on her and make sure she was still ok only to discover she had put her bear (who never leaves our sight except when we go to daycare) right into the catbox. YUCK!!! Needless to say Bear got a nice fun ride in the washer and dryer that day. :)
